Day 1: Leave Arusha Tour to Serengeti national park

Beginning our first day of our itinerary: 4 Days safari to Tarangire + Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater, After breakfast depart 7:00am for direct Serengeti national park with your lunch box, this will be long day driving from Arusha to Directly Serengeti National Park, It’s the way to the fertile crater highlands where the Iraq people grow wheat, corn and coffee. At midday you will reach the plains of Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti National Park is the second largest park in Tanzania and is about the same size as Hawaii. The southern part is dominated by grassland and is therefore good hunting ground for the cheetah, while to the north / western parts a more hill tree savanna landscape dominates. The Serengeti migration is famous of up to one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand zebras. This migration has become to be known as the “Great wildebeest Migration” and each year this natural spectacle is guaranteed. This in itself sets the Serengeti aside as a unique place to watch and observe wildlife. We will arrive late afternoon for evening game view about three or two hours of the game after that the driver will drive slowly to tented camp for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Mbungani tented camp.

Day 2: Tour to Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will continue your tour of the Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley you can watch the wildebeest, zebras as well lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs. After lunch at a picnic place you will slowly drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way you will pass the Olduvai Gorge which became world known due to the archeological work of the English research couple Leaky. In the sixties here they found the oldest remains of prehistoric man and in a small museum nearby their work is documented (a visit is optional). The Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive in Ngorongoro We have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalos. This truly world-class attraction is also known as the ’8th Wonder of the World’. Our dinner and overnight stay is at the Ngorongoro Mbungani Camp.

Day 3: Tour to Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire:

After early breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning, half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is it's dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater after which we travel to the Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation requested.

Day 4: Tour to Tarangire to Arusha

After breakfast do we head into the Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania's dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals - the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.
