Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Afternoon/Evening: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Trust Tours and Safaris’ representative, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, unwind and enjoy the hotel’s amenities, preparing for the adventure ahead.
- Evening: Meet with your guide for a pre-climb briefing. This session will provide essential information on the trek, introduce you to the team, and offer packing advice to ensure you are fully prepared.
Included: Airport transfer, dinner, hotel accommodation in Arusha.
Day 2: Rest and Acclimatization Day in Arusha
- Morning: Start the day with breakfast and then embark on a guided walking tour of Arusha. This day allows you to gently acclimatize while exploring local culture, markets, and nearby attractions.
- Afternoon: Return to the hotel to review equipment, complete last-minute preparations, and relax. Your guide will be available for any questions regarding the upcoming climb.

Day 3: Drive to Londorossi Gate (2,100 m) and Hike to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,750 m)
- Morning: After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Londorossi Gate for registration. From here, you’ll drive further to the trailhead, where the trek officially begins.
- Afternoon: Begin the ascent through lush rainforests, with the possibility of spotting colobus monkeys and other wildlife. The hike today is gradual, leading to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp, where you’ll spend your first night on the mountain.

Day 4: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp (3,500 m)
- Morning: After breakfast, continue hiking through the forest before entering the moorland zone. The trail becomes steeper, with incredible views of the Shira Plateau and surrounding landscapes.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Shira 1 Camp for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring or resting. This area provides your first close views of Kibo Peak, enhancing the sense of adventure.

Day 5: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,850 m)

- Afternoon: After reaching Shira 2 Camp, have lunch and spend the afternoon resting or taking short acclimatization hikes around the area.

Day 6: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp (3,900 m) via Lava Tower (4,630 m)
- Morning: Start with an early breakfast, then hike up to Lava Tower. This trek takes you into the alpine desert, offering panoramic views and a chance to acclimatize at higher altitudes.
- Afternoon: After lunch at Lava Tower, descend to Barranco Camp. The descent helps with acclimatization, and upon arrival at camp, enjoy the striking Barranco Wall towering over the site.

Day 7: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,035 m)
- Morning: After breakfast, tackle the Barranco Wall. This steep but rewarding climb provides incredible photo opportunities and views of the landscape below.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Karanga Camp for lunch and a well-deserved rest. This camp offers an excellent opportunity for acclimatization, essential for the upcoming summit attempt.

Day 8: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,640 m)
- Morning: After breakfast, start the trek to Barafu Camp. The trail gradually ascends, with stunning views of Mawenzi Peak along the way.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Barafu Camp, the final base before the summit attempt. After lunch, rest and mentally prepare for the early morning ascent.

Day 9: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) and Descent to Mweka Camp (3,080 m)
- Midnight: Begin the final ascent around midnight. Trek through the night to reach Stella Point (5,756 m) by sunrise. After a brief rest, continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
- Morning: Celebrate the accomplishment with breathtaking views from Uhuru Peak before beginning the descent to Barafu Camp for lunch.
- Afternoon: Continue descending to Mweka Camp, where you’ll spend the night and recuperate.

Day 10: Descent to Mweka Gate and Transfer to Arusha

What is included in Kilimanjaro Package?
Transfers:
- Pick-up and drop-off at Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport;
Transfer to the trailhead - entry gate to Kilimanjaro National Park.
Transfers to/from Kilimanjaro airport and trailheads
- Pick-up at the exit from Kilimanjaro National Park and transfer to the hotel;
Entry fees:
- All park fees collected by the Kilimanjaro National Park (conservation fees, camping fees, crew fees, vehicle fees, rescue fees and all other fees collected by the Tanzania National Parks Authority).
Accommodation:
- Two nights' accommodation (Moshi and Arusha).
- The hotels have everything for your comfortable stay - caring staff, nice rooms, reliable Wi-Fi, restaurant and swimming pool, hot shower).
- Tented accommodation on Mount Kilimanjaro.
Please note:
- All accommodation is on a sharing basis (i.e. you will be sharing with your travel companion a twin/double room in the hotel and a tent during the hike.
- If you travel alone, we will match you with a same-sex adventurer).
- Summit certificate for all successful climbers.
Meals:
- Breakfast in the hotel before and after the hike;
- All meals on the hike. Our Kilimanjaro diet includes energy-rich and highly nutritious meals prepared by our professional high altitude cooks. A typical diet on Kilimanjaro includes different soups, garnishes, several types of fish and meat, fresh fruit and vegetables; vegetarian/gluten-free/halal options are available at no extra cost;
- Personal Expenses (e.g. laundry, telephone, beverages, etc.)

- Professional guides, licensed by Kilimanjaro National Park. All our guides are the holder of Wilderness First Responder or
Wilderness First Aid certifications. All our guides have 7+years of successful mountaineering experience;

Currently, the cost of portable toilets is not included in the tour package to reduce trip expenses. Public restrooms are available in camps along the way. However, for those who prioritize comfort, renting a portable toilet is highly recommended, $350 for the group up to 5 people for entire trip.
How Many Porters Are Required to Conquer Kilimanjaro?

Picture this: your personal porter, unwavering and valiant, shall bear the weight of your gear, from trekking essentials to culinary apparatus.
