Tour Plan

Day 1: Tarangire National Park: On Saturday, August 1, 2026

  • Morning: After the bet breakfast and Kilimanjaro climbing we have some nicely for you, in the morning you will be met by your Trust Tours and Safaris guide. After a brief introduction, you’ll set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, which is about a two-hour journey. This park is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, providing a picturesque setting for your first day on safari.
  • Afternoon: Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park. Afterward, embark on your first game drive through the park. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, and an array of bird species. The park is also home to lions, leopards, and cheetahs, which you might spot resting under the shade of baobabs.
  • Evening: Arrive at your midrange lodge or tented camp, where you’ll have time to relax before dinner. As the sun sets, enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the African bush, perhaps with a drink in hand as you watch wildlife gather around a nearby waterhole. Dinner will be served under the stars, marking the perfect end to your first day in the wild.

Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area: On Sunday, August 2, 2026

  • Morning: Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tarangire, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures when wildlife is most active. This is a great time to spot predators like lions on the hunt or catch a glimpse of early-morning birdlife. After your game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast.
  • Afternoon: After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, with opportunities to stop and admire the panoramic views. Upon reaching Ngorongoro, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, for an afternoon game drive.
  • Evening: The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), making it a wildlife photographer’s paradise. As the day comes to an end, you’ll ascend to the crater rim, where your lodge is located. Enjoy dinner with a view of the crater and the surrounding highlands, offering a serene and picturesque setting for the evening.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park: On Monday, August 3, 2026

  • Morning: After an early breakfast, set out for another descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The early hours are ideal for spotting predators like lions and hyenas, as well as large herds of zebras and wildebeests grazing on the crater floor. The misty morning air adds an enchanting atmosphere to the crater’s landscapes.
  • Afternoon: After a picnic lunch in the crater, you’ll begin your journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive offers a chance to see the transition from the lush highlands of Ngorongoro to the open savannahs of the Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to spot wildlife and enjoy the changing scenery.
  • Evening: Arrive in the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, in time for an evening game drive. This region is particularly rich in wildlife, with large populations of lions, leopards, and elephants. After your game drive, head to your midrange lodge or tented camp for dinner and an evening of relaxation. The sounds of the Serengeti at night—roaring lions, chirping insects, and distant calls of hyenas—will lull you to sleep.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park: On Tuesday, August 4, 2026

  • Morning: Start your day with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti. The early morning light casts a golden hue over the plains, creating perfect conditions for wildlife photography. This is also a prime time to witness the predators of the Serengeti as they complete their night hunts and retreat to the shade.
  • Afternoon: Return to your camp for a leisurely brunch and some rest. In the early afternoon, you’ll head out for another game drive, exploring different parts of the Serengeti depending on the wildlife movements. Your guide will take you to the best spots to observe the ongoing Great Migration (if in season) or to watch large herds of elephants and antelopes.
  • Evening: As the sun sets, enjoy a traditional sundowner—a refreshing drink in a scenic location—while watching the colors of the African sky change from blue to orange and red. Return to your camp for dinner and an evening around the campfire, sharing stories of the day’s adventures with fellow travelers.

Day 5: Serengeti to Kilimanjaro International Airport: On Wednesday, August 5, 2026

  • Morning: On your final day, enjoy a last morning game drive in the Serengeti, making the most of your time in one of the world’s most renowned wildlife reserves. After the game drive, return to the camp for breakfast.
  • Afternoon: After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a stopover in Arusha for lunch or some last-minute shopping before your departure. Your guide will ensure you arrive at the airport in time for your flight home, marking the end of your incredible 5-day safari adventure.
  • Evening: Departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport, taking with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, its magnificent landscapes, and its incredible wildlife.
