Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha.
- Afternoon: Upon arrival from Kilimanjaro trek, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Trust Tours and Safaris representative. From here, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Moshi, the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. Moshi is a vibrant city nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro’s and is the perfect starting point for your safari adventure.
- Evening: After settling into your hotel, enjoy a welcome dinner where you’ll meet your guide and receive a briefing on the exciting journey ahead. This is also a great opportunity to relax and acclimate to the Tanzanian atmosphere, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Arusha.
Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut (2,700m)
- Activities: Begin your Kilimanjaro adventure with a scenic drive to Marangu Gate. After registration and briefing, embark on a beautiful forest hike to Mandara Hut. The trail winds through lush rainforest, rich in birdlife and vibrant plant species. Upon arrival, take a short walk to the nearby Maundi Crater for sweeping views.

Day 3: Mandara to Horombo Hut & Return to Arusha.
- Activities: Continue your trek through heath and moorland vegetation to Horombo Hut (3,720m), where you'll take a rest, enjoy views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, and then begin your descent back to Marangu Gate. Your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Arusha for a hot shower and comfortable night.

Day 4: Safari Begins – Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
- Activities: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, home to massive herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this scenic and less-crowded park. Keep an eye out for lions, zebras, oryx, and hundreds of bird species. Have lunch at a scenic picnic site before continuing your game drive.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park.
- Morning: Rise early for a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to spot predators on the hunt. Depending on the season, you may also observe the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing.
- Afternoon: Return to your camp for a mid-morning break, followed by a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, continue your game drives, exploring different areas of the Serengeti, each offering unique landscapes and wildlife encounters. Your guide will take you to the best spots for viewing wildlife, ensuring an unforgettable safari experience.
- Evening: After a full day of exploration, return to your camp or lodge for dinner. The evening is perfect for sharing stories of the day’s adventures around the campfire or simply enjoying the tranquility of the Serengeti at night.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive offers more opportunities for wildlife viewing as you pass through different ecosystems.
- Afternoon: Arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World.’ Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, where you can watch these massive creatures wallow in the water.
- Evening: Ascend from the crater and transfer to your lodge perched on the crater rim. The views from here are spectacular, offering a perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Spend the evening relaxing in the cool highland air, with the crater’s dramatic landscape as your backdrop.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha.
