Whether you call it a safari, tour, itinerary, or trip, they all refer to the exciting travel experiences you can book with us. Tour Prices quoted are valid to December 31st, 2024 and 2026 and include:

• Enjoy top-notch Safari or Mountain climbs tailored to your preferences, be it twin-bedded rooms or double bed rooms, or even comfortable tents when in the great outdoors.
• Savor delicious meals in line with each itinerary, accompanied by refreshing domestic bottled water during group meals.
• Rest easy knowing that arrival and departure transfers, as well as all land transport, are taken care of for you.
• For mountain expeditions such as Kilimanjaro, count on our professional and licensed guides, skilled cooks, and dedicated porters to ensure a smooth journey carrying your essentials.
• On safari adventures, our English-speaking driver guide and talented cook will make sure you have an unforgettable camping experience.
• Entrance fees to National Parks, game reserves, and museums, along with all other applicable fees and taxes, are included for your convenience.
• Hop into our Safari vehicle, equipped with luxurious amenities for optimal game viewing and touring, where a guaranteed window seat is a promise. Embark on unforgettable memories with us!

Not included in quoted tour prices:

Please note that the tour package does not include expenses such as passport or visa costs, excess baggage fees, travel insurance, airfares, airport taxes, additional sightseeing activities, game drives, or meals not specified in the itinerary. Please also be prepared for personal expenses like beverages (excluding bottled water provided), laundry services, communication charges, and tips. Be sure to budget for these additional costs to fully enjoy your travel experience.

Reservations and Payments:

To secure your spot on your upcoming adventure, we kindly request a 30% deposit per person upon booking. The remaining balance is due 30-90 days before your departure date.

If you prefer, you can pay the deposit and rest upon arrival in Tanzania – just let us know! We want to make this process as convenient as possible for you.

At our booking office, we accept wire transfers and credit cards. Please be aware that a 4% surcharge applies to Credit/Debit card payments. Refund and Cancellation Policy for Trust Tours and Safaris

At Trust Tours and Safaris, we strive to provide our clients with clear and transparent policies regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to accommodate our clients while ensuring fairness for both parties. Below is a detailed explanation of our Refund and Cancellation Policy to help you understand your rights and responsibilities when booking a safari with us.

1. Deposit Payment

• Deposit Requirement: To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit covers initial administrative costs, permits, and reservations.
• Why Non-Refundable?: The deposit is used to secure accommodations, park fees, and other services that require upfront payment. These costs are often non-recoverable for us if you cancel.

2. Final Payment

• Due Date: The remaining balance (70%) must be paid 60 days before the start of the safari. For last-minute bookings (less than 60 days before departure), full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may force you to cancel your safari. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting the costs we incur. Below is our cancellation fee structure:

• Cancellation 60+ Days Before Departure:
  • You will forfeit the 30% deposit, but the remaining balance will be refunded in full.
• Cancellation 30-59 Days Before Departure:
  • You will be refunded 50% of the total tour cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
• Cancellation 15-29 Days Before Departure:
  • You will be refunded 30% of the total tour cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
• Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Departure:
  • No refund will be provided, as most costs (accommodation, park fees, permits, etc.) are non-recoverable at this stage.

4. Refund Process

• Timing: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days of receiving your cancellation request.
• Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (e.g., bank transfer or credit card).
• Deductions: Please note that any bank or transaction fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refund amount.

5. Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure events), the following applies:

• Postponement: We will work with you to reschedule your safari at no additional cost.
• Refund: If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund all recoverable costs (e.g., park fees, accommodation, etc.) after deducting any non-recoverable expenses.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, and other travel-related risks. This ensures peace of mind and financial protection in case of unexpected changes to your plans.

7. No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive on the scheduled start date of your safari without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.

8. Changes to Bookings

• Date Changes: If you wish to change your travel dates, we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and any additional costs incurred.
• Itinerary Changes: Minor changes to the itinerary can be made free of charge, while major changes may incur additional costs.

9. Client Responsibility

• Timely Communication: Please inform us of any cancellations or changes as soon as possible to minimize costs and facilitate smoother processing.
• Documentation: Ensure you have all necessary travel documents (e.g., passports, visas, vaccination certificates) before departure. Failure to provide these may result in cancellation with no refund.

10. Why Our Policy is Fair

Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to balance the needs of our clients with the operational realities of running safaris. By requiring a non-refundable deposit, we can secure the best accommodations, permits, and services for your trip. At the same time, our tiered cancellation fees ensure that you receive a fair refund if your plans change well in advance.

Example Scenario

• Client A books a safari 6 months in advance and pays a 30% deposit. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they cancel 45 days before departure.
  • Refund: Client A will receive a 50% refund of the total tour cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
• Client B books a safari 2 months in advance and cancels 10 days before departure.
  • Refund: No refund is provided, as the cancellation occurs within 15 days of departure.
