Climbing Kilimanjaro may be overwhelming but one should not get confused on what to bring along for the trekking. The major concern is not only packing but acquiring the right and necessary items.

Clothes:

  • Two sets of lightweight speed off strolling trousers
  • One sets North Face downy pants for wearing around camp and for staying in bed
  • One set of warm baselayer stockings
  • One set of waterproof trousers
  • One sets ski pants or warm climbing pants
  • A quite solid waterproof coat
  • Two non-cotton-wicking shirts
  • Two long-sleeved non-cotton sports tops
  • One long-sleeved warm baselayer
  • Zoom up wool mid-layer
  • Super light down coat
  • Non-cotton, Microfibre pants.
  • Two sets of gloves: one slim, one thick ski glove.
  • Two buffs
  • Two caps
  • Coaches for wearing around camp.
  • Climbing boots
  • Thick down coat
