TRUST TOURS AND SAFARIS COMPANY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Trust Tours and Safaris Company is a registered business in Tanzania. Throughout these Booking Terms and Conditions, the terms safari, tour, itinerary, and trip are interchangeable and all refer to the travel arrangements being reserved with us. Similarly, the terms client, guest, participant, member, passenger, and traveler mean the same and all pertain to you, the individual embarking on the journey.

Tour Prices quoted are valid to December 31st, 2024 and 2025 and include:

• Enjoy top-notch accommodations tailored to your preferences, be it twin-bedded rooms or double bed rooms, or even comfortable tents when in the great outdoors.
• Savor delicious meals in line with each itinerary, accompanied by refreshing domestic bottled water during group meals.
• Rest easy knowing that arrival and departure transfers, as well as all land transport, are taken care of for you.
• For mountain expeditions such as Kilimanjaro, count on our professional and licensed guides, skilled cooks, and dedicated porters to ensure a smooth journey carrying your essentials.
• On safari adventures, our English-speaking driver guide and talented cook will make sure you have an unforgettable camping experience.
• Entrance fees to National Parks, game reserves, and museums, along with all other applicable fees and taxes, are included for your convenience.
• Hop into our Safari vehicle, equipped with luxurious amenities for optimal game viewing and touring, where a guaranteed window seat is a promise. Embark on unforgettable memories with us!

Not included in quoted tour prices:

Please note that the tour package does not include expenses such as passport or visa costs, excess baggage fees, travel insurance, airfares, airport taxes, additional sightseeing activities, game drives, or meals not specified in the itinerary. Please also be prepared for personal expenses like beverages (excluding bottled water provided), laundry services, communication charges, and tips. Be sure to budget for these additional costs to fully enjoy your travel experience.

Reservations and Payments:

We kindly ask for a 30% deposit per person when booking your trip. The remaining balance is due 30-90 days before your departure date.

If you prefer to pay the deposit and the rest upon arrival in Tanzania, we are happy to accommodate your request.

Accepted payment methods at our booking office include wire transfer or credit card. Please note that a 4% surcharge applies to Credit/Debit card payments.

We will do our best to accommodate last-minute reservations whenever possible. Book your adventure now and secure your spot!

Cancellations:

Before embarking on your tour with us, please keep in mind that cancellations must be made in writing to ensure clarity and transparency. At Trust Tours and Safaris, we understand that circumstances can change, which is why we have a clear cancellation policy in place.
If you need to cancel your trip:

• 91 days or more before departure: You will only be charged the amount of your deposit
• 90 to 61 days before departure: 50% of the package price is non-refundable
• 60 to 46 days before departure: 65% of the package price is non-refundable
• 45 days or less before departure: 100% of the package price is non-refundable.

Additionally, you may be responsible for any fees imposed by hotels, airlines, etc., that are beyond our control due to your cancellation.
We strive to provide exceptional service and experiences for our travelers, and we appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy. Rest assured that we are here to support you throughout your journey with us.

Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Representation and Consent
When you make a booking with us, you are representing that you have the authority to enter into a contract for all guests included in the booking. By making a deposit or partial payment for a reservation, all guests covered by that payment are consenting to all the Terms and Conditions outlined herein. It is important for all guests to be aware and agree to these provisions, even if they have not physically signed the contract. Your cooperation in this matter ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for all involved. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.

Important Notice: Changes to Tours:
At Trust Tours and Safaris, we prioritize your safety and satisfaction above all else. Therefore, please be aware that we reserve the right to make adjustments to tour itineraries if circumstances beyond our control, such as changes to air or ground transportation schedules, security concerns, or unforeseen events, make it necessary to do so.
Rest assured that any alterations made are done with your best interests in mind, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our valued customers. Trust in us to provide you with a memorable and worry-free adventure.

Empowerment to Subcontract
In order to provide you with the best possible experience, Trust Tours and Safaris Company reserves the authority to outsource any of its services to a carefully selected third-party service provider. Rest assured; this decision is made with your satisfaction in mind. Thank you for trusting us.

Please be aware that accommodations and scheduled sightseeing may be subject to change without prior notice. While Trust Tours and Safaris Company will make every effort to adhere to the planned itinerary, unexpected circumstances beyond our control may require alterations. Rest assured that we are committed to delivering a memorable and exciting tour experience, no matter the changes that may occur. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Attention all travelers!
Please be advised that your belongings are your responsibility during the entirety of the tour. While some internal flights may have limitations on luggage weight, worry not as all necessary details will be conveniently outlined in your itinerary. Let’s embark on this adventure with a light heart and even lighter luggage!

Please note:
that the prices for our tours may change due to factors outside of our control, such as increases in national park fees, lodging rates, governmental fees and taxes, internal airfare, airport taxes, visa fees, third party services, or other circumstances. We do our best to keep our costs current, but changes may occur. Thank you for your understanding.

Refunds Policy:

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise that could affect your ability to attend a tour. However, please be aware that refunds are generally not granted for missed tour services. In the rare event that a verifiable extenuating circumstance prevented you from participating in a tour, please reach out to us within 45 days of the tour’s conclusion with a written claim supported by a statement from the Tour Operating Company.

Please note that if you choose to cancel a tour that is already in progress, refunds will not be issued. We highly encourage you to review our Limits on Responsibility to understand the full extent of our policies.

While we do our best to partner with reputable providers, we cannot be held responsible for any negligent or willful actions of individuals or entities not under our direct control. Rest assured, we are committed to providing you with a memorable and enjoyable experience, and we appreciate your trust in us.

Despite our best efforts, unforeseen circumstances may arise that are beyond our control. By booking with us, you agree that we shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, inconvenience, or damage to personal property that may occur while providing our goods and services. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in the event of any such occurrences.
