Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Morning pickup from your Arusha hotel around 8:30 and a drive to Tarangire with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. Famous for its majestic baobabs and large elephant herds along the Tarangire River, the park also holds lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, eland, giraffe and zebra. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Ngorongoro Crater, return to Arusha
An early breakfast and a dawn descent (around 6:30) onto the crater floor — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera — for a roughly five-hour game drive among elephant, buffalo, black rhino, hippo, hyena, cheetah and lion. Picnic lunch at the hippo pool, then the climb out and the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening.
